Surface condition, actual wall area, corners, openings, ceiling height and whether preparation and painting are included all affect the quote. Installation-only prices are not directly comparable to a complete wall treatment.
The substrate determines the result
The wall must be stable, even, dry and correctly primed. Loose layers, moisture marks and visible unevenness need attention first.

Can wall felt go directly onto an uneven wall?
Wall felt does not hide larger defects. The substrate must be repaired, skimmed and sanded as needed.
Does the quote include painting?
That is agreed per project. The quote states whether it covers installation only or a complete prepared and painted finish.
